About the Position
As a Cath Lab/CVIV Registered Nurse at SHC Cares, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians during various diagnostic and interventional procedures related to cardiac and vascular health. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
As a Cath Lab/CVIV Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining the catheterization lab and equipment
- Assisting physicians during catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and documenting procedure-related information
- Administering medications as directed by physicians
- Providing post-procedure care, including monitoring patients for complications
- Educating patients and their families about procedures and post-procedure care
Qualifications
To be considered for the position of Cath Lab/CVIV Registered Nurse at SHC Cares, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab/CVIV setting
- ACLS certification
- Excellent knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
